Honoring the impact of Peter schrey's work and moving forward
It is with mixed emotions that I announce the departure of one of our esteemed team members, Peter Schrey DPT OCS CSCS, who has decided to move on to pursue a career in academia teaching for the Oregon State University Physical Therapy Program.
Peter has been an invaluable member of our team since he joined us, and has contributed immensely to the well being of our patients and community and to the growth and success of our business. He has brought his exceptional talents, expertise, and dedication to every patient and project, and has built strong relationships with our patients, community and team members.
We are deeply grateful for Peter’s unwavering commitment to excellence, his infectious enthusiasm, and his ability to inspire and motivate everyone around him. His presence will be missed, and we are proud to have had the opportunity to work alongside such a talented and respected therapist.
We wish Peter all the best in his academic career, and know that he will continue to achieve great things. We will carry on his legacy of hard work, passion for our profession, and integrity.
Thank you, Peter, for all that you have done for our business and for us personally. We wish you great success and happiness.

Owner Focus PHysical Therapy
In Peter’s own words:
It is with excitement and a touch of heartache that I announce I will be leaving Focus Physical Therapy in mid-May to accept a full-time professor position at OSU-Cascades in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program.
This transition was supposed to happen in late summer but due to some faculty changes, it is
being expedited. As you may know, I have always had a dedication to the future of our profession
through clinical education internships and teaching part-time at OSU for the last year and half. I am very
honored to take this step towards being fully dedicated to teaching these students to take care of us all
in the future.
I will be close by, just up the street from our new clinic location on Emkay Drive, and will most likely be
stopping by to bother the PTs about subject recruitment for research projects, clinical placements for
students and just “geeking out” on all the new things in rehabilitation.
While I am excited for what my future holds, I will be honestly be sad to not see patients and help them
reach their goals. I will greatly miss my colleagues who over the last 10 years have made Focus PT a
place I looked forward to coming to every day. I am working hard to make sure that existing patients are
placed with a Focus PT that is a good fit for them so the transition is as seamless as possible. You can
rest assured that you are in good hands with this team.
Please do not hesitate to reach out with questions.
With much gratitude,
Peter Schrey, DPT
