Peter Schrey, DPT, OCS, CSCS is an APTA Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He returns to Focus part-time after a transition in 2023 to teach at the OSU Cascades DPT program. Peter specializes in orthopedics, sports physical therapy, and helping athletes with lower quarter issues. Peter brings a wealth of advanced training, including manual therapy, the McKenzie system, strength and conditioning, gait analysis, functional biomechanics, and pain science. Peter also conducts research on lower extremity biomechanics and rehab and has been an active volunteer on sports medicine teams for the 2008, 2012, and 2021 USATF Olympic Trials and the 2022 World Athletics Championships. He’s an active member of the APTA, the Academy of Orthopedic Physical Therapy, and serves on the Foot and Ankle Special Interest Group board.
