Come to this FREE seminar to hear a panel of experts discuss these conditions unique to the female athlete including diagnosis, treatment, and how you: as a parent, athlete or coach can recognize and prevent these serious and potentially debilitating conditions.

Dr. Mary Skrzynski is a Board Certified Orthopedist who is especially interested in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of conditions commonly seen in an athletic population. As the mother of three, including 2 daughters who play a sport considered high risk for ACL injury, and as an athlete who herself sustained an ACL tear, these subjects are near and dear to her heart. Her practice, Deschutes Orthopedics, is located on Bend’s westside.

Dr. Carrie Day is a board certified Internist and Pediatrician practicing at High Lakes Health Care’s new Shevlin office. As a provider for adults and kids and a female athlete herself, her practice attracts many female adolescents. Dr. Day is passionate about encouraging her patients to be well rounded, successful athletes while ensuring that they are incorporating a strong foundation of healthy behaviors for a future of health and wellness.
